Dr. Joyce Thornton is a pastor, teacher, author, conference speaker and passionate preacher. She was birthed into the Body of Christ after she was instantaneously delivered by the power of God from drug addictions and strong bondages. She has been a citizen of the Kingdom of God since September 1984. God has chosen and commissioned her to be an oracle of His Kingdom. She is a woman of purpose, prayer, and perseverance. She is a witness that whom the Son makes free, is free indeed.
After acknowledging and undeniable call to preach the gospel she was licensed in July 1988. In December 1996 she founded and established Committed to Christ Ministries, Inc., under the auspices of the Holy Spirit and was ordained as Pastor on January 26, 1997. God has blessed Dr. Thornton to travel extensively. She has been privileged to preach the gospel throughout the United States, teh Bahamas, and the Caribbean Islands. She has traveled to Europe, the Holy Land in Israel, and has been blessed to partake on foreign missions to Kenya South Africa.

Dr. Gregory & Dr. Joyce Thornton are the Senior Pastor’s of Committed To Christ International Ministries Inc. As Senior Pastors they are members of The Potter's House International Pastoral Alliance (PHIPA) which is a multicultural fellowship of economically diverse coalition of Christian Senior Pastors that recognize the need for covenant fathering under Bishop T.D. Jakes. Dr. Greg & Dr. Joyce Thornton were reaffirmed and concecrated by Bishop Jakes in 2006.
